Acosta, Lupe
    Lupe Olivarri Acosta, 70 of Cameron died Friday, March 31, 2006 at her home. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday at St. Monica's Catholic Church with Rev. Chris Coleman officiating. Burial will be in the St. Monica's Cemetery. Prayer service will be 6:00 p.m. Saturday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home with Rev. Glynn Cummings officiating.
    Mrs. Acosta, a homemaker, was born June 30, 1935 in Milam County to Emilio and Aurora (Bernal) Olivarri. She married Thomas Ponce Acosta on January 19, 1951 and he preceded her in death in June 1969.
    Survivors include sons; Thomas, Richard, and Carl Wayne Acosta all of Cameron. Daughters; Rosie Mendoza of Cameron, Lorrie Stringfellow of Newton, and Trish Vargas of Cameron. Brothers; Emilio Olivarri, Jr. of Houston, Frank, Tony, and Willie Olivarri of Cameron and Tommy Olivarri of Houston. Sisters; Liz Delao of Cameron, Mary Ann Jones of Jasper, and special friend Ray Vega III of Cameron. 22 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren also survive.

Bain, Patricia Ann
    Patricia Ann Bain, 59, of Buckholts died Thursday, February 16, 2006 at her home. Memorial services will be held 4:00 p.m. Monday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. Johnny Kueker officiating.
    Ms. Bain, a science teacher at Buckholts I.S.D. for over 23 years, was born January 25, 1947 in Pittsfield, MA to Beecher T. and Mary (Ruff) Bain. She was a graduate of the University of Houston. While teaching at Buckholts, she was instrumental in starting Students Talking About Resistance (STAR) program, she was a member of the Badger Booster Club, the Cheerleader and Pep Squad sponsor, the PTO and was currently serving as the 10th grade sponsor.
    She was a member of Westminister Methodist Church and the Buckholts Lions Club. She was preceded in death by her father in 1998.
    Survivors include children; Kimber Gross of Houston, Shannon Elliott of Buckholts, Robin Elliott McFarland and husband Brian of Georgetown, and Thomas R. Elliott III and wife Andrea of Buckholts. Her mother, Mary R. Bain of Houston, a brother, Randle T. Bain and wife Susan of Waller. Sisters, Karen B. McLin and husband Travis of Lufkin, Mary Lynn Booth and husband Paul of Missouri City, and Linda Jean Bain of Needville.
    Grandchildren, Kelsey Robertson, Preston Elliott and Ryan McFarland; nieces & nephews; Lisa and Kent Havard, Michael McLin, Mark & Darci McLin, Emily Booth, Cleo, Bessie and Ottis Bain, Little Sis, Syrius, Candy and Belle Bain.
    Great nieces & nephews: Chelsea & Kirby Havard, Morgan & Madison McLin, and Cody & Riley McLin.

Barmore, Mary Jo
    Mary Joe Barmore, 99, of Cameron, died Tuesday, March 28, 2006 in a Cameron hospital. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Cameron with Rev. Gary Maroney and Rev. James E. Lafferty officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
    Mrs. Barmor, a telephone operator, was born October 21, 1906 in Leon County to M.B. and Mary Della (Smith) Lansford. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cameron. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Barmore.
    Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.
Black, G. C.
    G. C. Black 89, of Cameron, died Monday, May 22, 2006 in a Temple hospital. Graveside funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Liberty Cemetery near Hanover with Rev. Burt Graham officiating. Family visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home.
    Mr. Black, a retired transportation superintendent for Phillips Petroleum, was born on January 19, 1917 in Cameron. He married Virginia Clapshaw. He was an U. S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Gus Brandt Masonic Lodge in Houston.
    Survivors include his wife, Virginia Black of Cameron; a son, Travis Black of Cameron; and a daughter, Tamara Black of San Antonio.

Carter, Roy Barrow
    Roy Barrow Carter, 62, died Friday, January 6 at a local hospital. Mr. Carter was cremated.
    He was born November 23, 1943 to Reece and Annie Jakobeit Barrow in Travis Co. He was a roofer by trade.
    Survivors include 2 daughters, Margie Thorn of Holland and Lisa Ann Bell of Smith Station, Ala; 2 sisters; and 5 grandchildren also survive.
Cass, Sudie Marie
    Sudie Marie Cass, 91, of Liberty and formerly of Cameron died Sunday, May 28, 2006 in a Liberty nursing home. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Oak Hill Pavilion in Cameron with Rev. William Angel officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Family visitation will be held Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home.
    Mrs. Cass, a homemaker, was born October 16, 1914 in the Salty Community of Milam County to Walter Lee and Maggie (Caffey) Tucker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Cameron.
    Survivors include: Son, Walter Shoaf & wife Dorothy of Liberty; Brothers, James (Red) Tucker of Cameron and Johnnie Tucker of Enid, Oklahoma. Granddaughter Carolyn Panebianco and great granddaughter,Claire Panebianco.
Cole, Nora Francers
    Nora Frances Cole, 78, of Temple and formerly of Cameron died Saturday, January 14, 2006 in a Temple nursing home. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home with Rev. James E. Lafferty officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Cemetery near Milano. Family visitation will be held Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Ms. Cole was born June 25, 1927 in Chriesman to Will Neal and Agnes (Boggans) Baggett. She was raised by Nora Pemberton after her mother died in child birth. Ms. Cole had worked as a dispatcher with the Cameron Police Department. She had also worked at O. J. Thomas School in Cameron, the Milam County Clerks office and for Southwestern Bell Telephone. She was a member of the First Assembly of God church.
    She was preceded in death by 1 child, 5 brothers, H.V. Pemberton, W.C. Pemberton, E.M. Pemberton, Dick Baggett and Travis Baggett and by 4 sisters, Cora Partee, Bessie Mertink, Ida Nichols, and Richard Sefcik.
    Survivors include: Son, Roy Harbison and a daughter, Paula Martin both of Temple. Brothers, John berton of Temple and the Rev. Garlon Pemberton of Biloxi, MS. A sister, Rose Lunsford of Cibolo, TX and 2 grandchildren, Adam Martin, Kelsey Martin.
Crouch, Norma Ruth
    Norma Ruth Crouch, 65, died Sunday, January 8th in a local nursing home. Funeral services will be held at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home on Thursday, January 12 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at Oakhill Cemetery.
    Mrs. Crouch was born February 10, 1940 in Houston to Hugh M. and Victoria Kinnison. She was a homemaker and a member of New Beginnings Church. She is preceeded in death by 2 brothers, Dwain and Robert; a sister, Lawanda Black.
    Survivors include 3 sons, Michael Wesley Crouch of Cameron, Ronald Dale Crouch of Joplin, MO and Dennis Dwain Crouch of Colorado; 2 daughters, Cindy Sanders of Cameron and Amanda Crouch of Dallas; 2 brothers, Kenneth Bowley; 4 sisters, Patricaf Glenn of Cameron, Marly Daiv from Malakoff, Linda Mayer of Cameron, and Glenda Hays of Cameron; 11 grandchildren 2 great grandchildren also survive.

Drozd, Albert
    Albert Drozd, 86 of Houston died Wednesday, April 14 in Houston. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Arpil 5 with Father Chris Colman officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
    Mr. Drozd was born July 5, 1919 to Steven and Mary Volka Droad in El Campo. He was a steel worker in the constuction business.
    Mr. Lanning is survived by his wife, Stella Stepanski and a son, Larry Stepanski.

Eberhardt, Mary Patricia Lucille
    Mary Patricia Lucille Eberhardt, 59 of Cameron died Saturday, April 1, 2006 in a Cameron hospital. Private services will be held at a later date. Her body was cremated.
    Ms. Eberhardt, a homemaker, was born October 4, 1946, in Stillwater, Oklahoma to George and Pauline (Slavens) McGuire.
    Survivors include: Daughters, Christena Renee Cupp of Temple, Gayla Moreen DoBucki and Teresa Marie McGee boyh of Arlington, and Anita Marie Hartzell of Stillwater, Oklahoma. A brother, Alfred Leroy McGuire of Cameron. Sisters, Linda Spoon of Stillwater, Oklahoma and Nancy McGuire of Wisconsin. 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren also survive.
Ermis, Flirsh Edwin
    Flirsh Edwin Ermis, 80, of Cameron died Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at a Temple hospital. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 10, 2006 at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. Bob Glenn officiating. Burial will follow in the Walkers Creek Cemetery. Family visitation will be Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Mr. Ermis, a heavy equipment operator, was born on December 28, 1925 in Milam County to John Joe and Annie (Kamenicky) Ermis. He married Bettye Lou Gibbs on October 18, 1957. He was retired from the Texas Department of Transportation. He was an Army veteran having served during WW II and was a member of the VFW Post 2010. He is preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
    Survivors include his wife, Bettye Ermis of Cameron; a son, Steve Ermis of Temple; daughters, Deborah Goin of Sparks, NV, Marilyn Ulicnik of Cameron and Carol Beth Ermis of College Station. Brother, Denson Ermis of Union City, TN; a sister, Mary Weberg of Bennington , TN; 15 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.

Glaser, Robert E., Jr.
    Robert E. Glaser Jr., 65 of Henderson, died Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at his home. Funeral s ervices will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, at St. Monica's Catholic Church in Cameron with Rev. Chris Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Monica's Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a wake service at 7:00 p.m. at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home.
    Mr. Glaser, Maintenance Supervisor, was born July 20, 1940 in Cameron to Robert & Cleo Glaser. He had retired from Texas Utilities in 1992. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Christopher (Joe) Seth Fergerson, and brother-in-law Frankie Joe Hubnik.
    Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Georgie Ann Hubnik Glaser of Henderson. A son, Trey (Robert E.III) Glaser & wife Crystal; Daughter, Yvonne Clark & husband Bobby. A brother, Franklin & Evelyn Glaser of Cameron; Sisters, Nelda & Edwin Marek of Cameron, Joyce & Willie Ray Hoff of Burlington, and Betty Jo Marrs of Pflugerville. Holder, Harry Lee
    Harry Lee Holder, 49, of Buckholts, died Saturday, April 1, 2006 at his home. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. Gary Kleypas officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery. Family visitation will be Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Mr. Holder, a self employed lawn care serviceman, was born July 8, 1956 in Cameron to Robert Lewis and Dorothy May (Hill) Holder. He was a member of the Buckholts Volunteer Fire Department for over 30 years, where he was serving as the current Fire Chief. He was a graduate of Buckholts High School and a member of the Buckholts Betterment Association and volunteered for the Buckholts Cotton Festival for many years. He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Joe Holder.
    Survivors include his father, Robert Holder of Buckholts.

Inge, Arthur Edward
    Arthur Edward Inge, 89 of Buckholts, died Saturday, March 25 in a Temple hospital. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Hope Lutheran Church in Buckholts, with Rev. Gary Kleypas and Rev. Johnny Kueker officiating. Burial will follow in the Hope Lutheran Memorial Park. Family visitation will be held Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron.
    Mr. Inge, a farmer, was born July 28, 1916 in Kirkley, Texas to Will and Audie (Hall) Inge. He married Flora Inge on September 2, 1939. In addition to farming Mr. Inge worked at Wilson Art International for over 22 years. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church where he had served as Deacon. He was active in Boy Scouts, 4H, FFA and the Buckholts Betterment Association.
    Survivors include his wife, Flora Inge of Buckholts; Children, Peggy & Carroll Jungmann of Allen, Stella & Calvin Travers of Seagoville, Arthur (Buddy) Inge, Jr. & wife Karen of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, and Pat & Gary Maypole of Highland Haven. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.

Jones, Martha Lee
    Martha Lee Jones, 82, of Buckholts, died Wednesday, March 15, 2006 in a Cameron hospital. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Kueker officiating. Burial will follow in the Corinth Cemetery near Buckholts. Family visitation will be Saturday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Mrs. Jones was born July 3, 1923 in Bell County to Edward Lee and Elsie Tracy (Schiller) Tomasek. She married Morris Marvin Jones and he preceded her in death in 1995. She had run the Buckholts grocery store for many years. A great grandson, Jordan Jones and a sister, Laverne Tomascik preceded her in death.
    Survivors include her daughter, Linda A. Culp of Thorndale; 5 sons, Morris M. Jones, Jr. of Cameron, Richard D. Jones of Alvin, Allen R. Jones of Temple, Michael W. Jones of Gatesville, and Matthew D. Jones of Sugarland; 2 sisters, Evelyn Abel of Buckholts and Virginia Ezell of San Angelo; 18 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren also survive.
Jungmann, Doris Marie (Meek)
    Doris Marie (Meek) Jungmann of Cedar Park and formerly of Cameron died January 25, 2006 in Cedar Park. Funeral services were held Friday, January 27 and burial was in the Hope Lutheran Memorial Park.
    She was born January 27, 1951 in Cameron, Texas to Delma and Ann (Kohutek) Meek. Doris worked for the Texas Commission for the Blind in Austin for over 32 years where she was Manager of Information Resources. She was a 27 year resident of Cedar Park and was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church. Doris was preceded in death by a brother, James Meek.
    She is survived by her husband, Larry Jungmann of Cedar Park; Sons, John Jungmann and Jeremy Jungmann of Cedar Park; Parents, Delma and Ann Meek of Cameron

Lanning, Keaton
    Keaton Lanning, 64, of New Waverly died Saturday, March 4 at Hermann Memorial Hospital in the Woodlands. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Lafferty officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cameron. Family visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 on Tuesday at the funeral home.
    Mr. Lanning was born on February 3, 1942 in Dayton, TX to Otis Jess and Gladys Virginia Calvin Lanning. Mr. Lanning was a steelworker and operated the Keaton Steel Building company. Mr. Lannnig was preceeded in death by Larry Lanning.
    Survivors include 4 sons, Joe of Hockley, Keith of Livingston, Keaton Nathan of Burton, and Tommy Walshak of Magnolia; a daughter, Cindy Malone of Minerva; 1 brother, Gene lanning of New Waverly; 3 sisters, Jo Ann Hubert of Minera, Linda Baker and Annete McMahon, both of New Waverly; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren also survive.

McLaughlin, Bernard Brian
    Bernard Brian McLaughlin, 79, of The Woodlands, died Tuesday, January 17, 2006. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at St. Monica's Catholic Church in Cameron with Rev. Chris Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Monica's Cemetery. A wake service will be held 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home.
    Mr. McLaughlin was born March 8, 1926 in Taylor to Tom and Mamie (Storns) McLaughlin. He married Dorothy Marie Richter and he served in the U. S. Marine Corps during World War II. Mr. McLaughlin had worked as a Department of Public Safety Trooper, then he worked for Allstate Insurance and later for Schlumberger. Two sisters, Joan Lane and Frances McLaughlin preceded him in death.
    Survivors include: His wife, +Dorothy Marie McLaughlin of The Woodlands; Son, Brian McLaughlin of Spring; Daughter, Lynne Sandiford of The Woodlands; 5 Grandchildren, Stacey Murchison, Heather Sandiford, Jennifer Reynolds, Cindy Luna, Angela Schultz; Great Grandchild, Wesley Luna.
McLeod, Lottie Margaret
    Lottie Margaret McLeod, 102, of Cameron died Monday, January 30, in a Cameron hospital. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Cameron with Rev. Gary Maroney officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
    Mrs. McLeod, a retired school teacher, was born October 22, 1903 in Morgan, Texas to Rufus and Sally (Hornbuckle) Belcher. She was Valedictorian of her Morgan High School graduating class. She married Raymond McLeod in 1924 and he preceded her in death in 1983. She taught at both private and public schools for over 28 years, at the old Cameron Mexican School, St. Monica's Catholic School and Ben Arnold School. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cameron where she taught Sunday School in the primary department and served in the WMU. Eleven siblings also preceded her in death.
    Survivors include: Son, Dr. Raymond McLeod, Jr. of Austin; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Millian, Joe W.
    Joe W. Millian, age 86, of Salado, died Wednesday, January 18, 2006 in a Temple hospital. Private graveside will be held at Corinth Cemetery near Buckholts.
    Mr. Millian was born to immigrant parents, Adolf and Anna Milian who were farmers living near Temple. He lived in Temple, Fort Worth and then most of his adult life in Belton. He was employed at Fort Hood as a helicopter mechanic until he retired with medical disabilities in 1973.
    Survivors include: His wife of 63 years, Lorene Kuzel Millian; Two children, Joe David Milian and Charlotte Rowland; Sister, Agnes Michalik and 3 grandchildren.

Parker, James L.
    James L. Parker, 88 of Austin and formerly of Cameron and San Saba died Saturday, January 21, 2006 in an Austin nursing facility. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Milam County Church of Christ with O. E. Davidson officiating. Burial will be 3:00 p.m. at the San Saba City Cemetery.
    Mr. Parker, a retired electrical engineer for Public Service Co. of Colorado, was born February 25, 1917 in Llano to Terrell Scott and Jewel L. (Whittenberg) Parker. He was an U. S. Army veteran of World War II. He married Clara Ella Dietz on March 4, 1943 and she preceded him in death in 1977. After the death of his first wife, Mr. Parker married Bonnelle Hester Perkins and she preceded him in death in 1994. He was a member of the Milam County Church of Christ. Two brothers, Orval and Glenn Parker and one sister, Evelyn Hess also preceded him in death.
    Survivors include: Sons, James Scott Parker of Greenville, Texas and Jeffrey Mack Parker of Cedar Park.
Pimpler, Anita Pauline
    Anita Pauline Pimpler, 89, of Cameron died Tuesday, March 14, 2006 in a Cameron hospital. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home with Rev. James T. Wheeless officiating. Burial will follow in the Ben Arnold Cemetery in Ben Arnold. Family visitation will be held Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Mrs. Pimpler, a homemaker, was born October 11, 1916 to Edward and Emma (Abel) Adler in Wallis, Texas. She was baptized and confirmed in the Luthern faith at an early age. She later moved with her parents to Milam County and there became a member of St. James Evangelical & Reform Church where she married Edmund Pimpler on November 11, 1936. She and her husband were faithful members of the Christian Fellowship Church of Ben Arnold (formerly United Church of Christ in Ben Arnold) for many years. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Leonard, Emil and Mike Adler and two sisters Elenora Sitz and Emelia Werchen.
    Survivors include: Husband, Edmund Pimpler of Cameron; Sons, Harold Gene Pimpler & wife Carol of Temple and Donald Ray Pimpler & wife Peggy of Cameron; Brother, Edward Adler of Belton; Grandchildren, Shelia Haddock & husband Keith, Eric Pimpler & wife Shanon, Grant Pimpler & wife Kristen and Amy Colquette & husband Eric; Great grandchildren, Hunter Haddock, Whitney & Elizabeth Pimpler.
Posival, Alvin Stanley
    Alvin Stanley Posival, 85 of Cameron died Saturday, January 21, 2006 in a Cameron nursing center. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Kueker and Rev. Jim Lafferty officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Family visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Mr. Posival, a retired machine operator for a door manufacturing plant, was born January 12, 1921 in Cameron to Stanley H. and Mary (Stalmach) Posival. He was an U. S. Army veteran of World War II. He married Josephine Kretschmar on February 14, 1949. Mr. Posival was a member of the Buckholts Brethren Church. A sister, Irene Mitchell, preceded him in death.
    Survivors include: His wife, Josephine Posival of Cameron; Sons, David Posival of San Antonio, Paul Posival of Buckholts, and Mark Posival of Cameron; Daughter, Judith Hughes of Belton; Brother, Raymond Posival of Austin; Sister, Margaret Hester of Temple; 8 grandchildren also survive.
Puente, Cecilia
    Cecilia Puente, 79, of Rosebud, died Saturday, February 25, in a Temple nursing home. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron. Burial will follow in the Hernandez Cemetery. Prayer services will be 6:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
    Mrs. Puente, a homemaker was born November 22, 1926 in Cameron to Cevedo Correa and Paula Castellon. She was a Catholic.

Richter, Lillie R.
    Lillie R. Richter, 91, of Cameron died Tuesday, January 31 in a Temple hospital. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at St. Monica's Catholic Church with Rev. Walter Matus officiating. Entombment will follow in the St. Monica's Mausoleum. Rosary will be recited 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron.
    Mrs. Richter, a homemaker, was born January 22, 1915 in Buckholts to Julius and Frances (Zajicek) Ruzicka. She married Johnnie A. Richter. Mrs. Richter was an active member of St. Monica's Catholic Church where she was involved with the homebound ministries. She was preceded in death by several siblings.
    Survivors include: Husband, Johnnie A. Richter of Cameron; Son, Dr. Johnnie Richter and wife Sandra of Rogers; Daughter, Dr. Jeannette Cunningham of Waco; Brother, Jack D. Ruzicka of Buckholts; 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren also survive.
Rinn, Hazel Corinne
    Hazel Corinne Rinn, 93 of Cameron died Saturday, February 11, 2006 at her home. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with Ty Fleming officiating. Burial will follow in the North Elm Cemetery near Yarrellton. Family visitation will be held Sunday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Mrs. Rinn, a homemaker, was born July 31, 1912 in Yarrellton to N. D. and Josie (Clements) Fuller. She married W. O. Rinn on November 11, 1933 and he preceded her in death on August 16, 1998. She had worked at the Backdoor Shop and J. C. Penney in Cameron. She was a member of the Crockett Street Church of Christ, the Central Texas Hospital Ladies Auxiliary and the Cameron Bowling Association.
    Survivors include: Sons, Dell Rinn & wife Shirley of Houston and Warren Rinn & wife Mary Ann of Cameron; 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild also survive.
Roberts, Ouida
    Ouida Roberts, 94 of Davilla died Thursday, March 16, 2006 in a Temple hospital. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Davilla Baptist Church with Rev. David Cox, Bob Champion and Richard Darst officiating. Burial will be in the Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron.
    Mrs. Roberts was born May 17, 1911 to Michael Oliver and Josie (Hutton) Bailey. She married Vernon E. Roberts on December 6, 1952 and he preceded her in death in 1976. Mrs. Roberts owned and operated an upholstery shop in Davilla for many years. She was a member of Davilla Baptist Church. Four brothers and 3 sisters also preceded her in death.
    Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.
Robison, Elizabeth Gordon
    Elizabeth Gordon Robison, 82 of Cameron, died Thursday, January 5 at her residence in Rockdale. Gravesite services will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery at 10:00 a. m. on Saturday, January 7th with Rev. Tim Cheatham officiating.
    Mrs. Robison was born January 17, 1923 in Cameron to John and Mattie Hill Wilkerson. Mrs. Robison was a homemaker. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Ray and 1 great grandchild, Zachary Fisher.
    Survivors include a son, Charles Robison and his wife Peggy of Thorndale; a daughter, Carolyn Temple and husband Mike of Rockdale; 4 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren also survive.
Rummel, Albert Henry
    Albert Henry Rummel, 95 of Burlington, died Tuesday in a Cameron hospital. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home with Rev. James Wheeless officiating. Burial will follow in the Ben Arnold Cemetery. Family visitation will be held Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Mr. Rummel, the oldest of ten children, was born to John and Anna (Stoerner) Rummel on September 12, 1910 near Cayote, Texas. He attended Ad Hall School for 6 years and then they moved to the Vogelsang-Ben Arnold area in 1925. Albert married Leona Annie Lucko on December 12, 1934 at the Vogelsang Church and she preceded him in death in 1999. He worked as a farmer and rancher.
    Survivors include his son, Leon and wife Evelyn Rummel of Bryan; a sister, Fay Kohutek of College Station; a granddaughter, Brenda Goswick & husband Cameron of Sugar Land; and Great grandchildren Connor, Cullen, and Jillian.

Sawyer, Helen Ruth
    Helen Ruth Sawyer, 69 of Cameron, died Monday in a Cameron hospital. Grave site services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the North Elm Cemetery with Rev. Tim Cheatham officiating.
    Mrs. Sawyer was born in Maysfield on June 20, 1936 to Henry Madison and Allie Harbor Holloway. She was a health care worker for Girling. Mrs. Sawyer was preceeded in death by 4 brothers and a sister.
    Survivors include her husband, Wesley Sawyer; 2 sons, Allen Sikes of Mt. Homes, ARK. and Kenneth Peterson of San Antonio; a daughter, Tina Sikes of Little Rock, ARK.; 2 brothers, Billy Ray Holloway of Burleson and John Denson of Pasadena, TX; 4 sisters, Hazel Steele of Tomball, Fay Janes of Dallas, Ann Webb of Rosenburg, and Nyla Lynn Holloway from Fredricksburg; 4 grandchildren also survive.
Setzer, Juanita
    Juanita Setzer, 89, of Dallas, was born December 13, 1916 in Lindsay, Oklahoma and died Sunday March 5 in Dallas. Funeral services will be Wednesday 1:00 p.m. at The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Dallas. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the DaVilla Cemetery in DaVilla.
    She married Howell Winston Setzer in 1942. They owned and operated Setzer Hardware in Nederland until 1973. Mr. Setzer preceded her in death in 1983.
    Survivors include her daughter, Jayne E. Setzer of Cleburne; a son, Winston Keith Setzer of Dallas; a granddaughter and 2 great grandchildren; Brothers, Austin McIninch of Del Rio and Glenn McIninch of Rochester N.Y.
Shaw, Ricky Dale
    Ricky Dale Shaw, 46, of Cameron died Monday, May 1, 2006 in Cameron. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home with Loren Quick officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Cemetery near Hanover. Family visitation will be held Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Mr. Shaw, an electrician journeyman, was born November 26, 1959 in Milam County to Ossie Stewart and Mary Lillian (York) Shaw. He loved his family and fishing.
    Survivors include his daughters, Virginia Shaw of Thorndale and Victoria Everhart of Washington, D.C.; Parents, Ossie and Mary Shaw of Cameron; Sisters, Donna Kenney of Cameron and Marilyn Seelke of Temple; 1 grandchild also survives.

    George William Tabler, 94, of Cameron died Monday, January 2 in a local hospital. Gravesite services will be held on Saturday, January 7th at Rice Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Cheatham officiating. Family visitation will be Friday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home.
    Mr. Tabler was born May 19, 1911 in Cameron to Lawrence Guy and Bessie Grant Tabler. He was an electrician by trade and a veteran of the US Navy.
    He is survived by 3 sisters, Helen V. Butler of Cameron, Ruth Wildgrube of Oklahoma, and Emma Marie Mitchan of Cameron.
Terry, Neomi Harper
    Neomi Harper Terry, 87, of Cameron died Tuesday in a Rockdale nursing home. Graveside funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Oak Hill Cemetery with Rev. James Wheeless officiating. Family visitation will be held Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home.
    Mrs. Terry was born February 16, 1919 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Lynn and Irene (Williams) Harper. She married James A. Terry on April 27, 1956. She had worked as Cameron City Secretary for several years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cameron. Five brothers, Dowdell Harper, Guy Harper, Cordell Harper, Ottis Harper, Linolan Harper and two sisters, Louise Hazelwood and Wyvona Cummings, preceded her in death.
    Survivors include her husband, James A. Terry of Cameron; a son, Billy Keith Needham & wife Barbara of Cameron; Sisters, Emarene Hudspeth of Abilene and Jessie Owings of Cameron; 3 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren also survive.
Thweat, Bertha E.
    Bertha E. Thweatt, 93 of Maysfield, died Saturday, April 8, 2006 in a Waco hospital. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 10, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. William Angel officiating. Burial will follow in the Pebble Grove Cemetery near Maysfield. Family visitation will be held Sunday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Mrs. Thweatt, retired postmistress for Maysfield, was born December 14, 1912 in Bell County to Thomas Franklyn and Minnie Gladys (Rae) Floyd. She married Vaughn (Dock) Thweatt June 16, 1930 and he preceded her in death in 1995. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Cameron and a member of the Jones Prairie 42 club. Three brothers and one sister also preceded her in death.
    Survivors include three sons, Kenneth Thweatt of Cameron, Danny Thweatt of Houston and Gary Thweatt of Cameron; a daughter, LaVerne (Skeet) Thweatt of Cameron; Sister, Dorothy McKelvey of Austin; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren also survive.
Tyson, Gloria
    Gloria Tyson, 67, of Cameron died Tuesday, January 10, 2006 in a Cameron hospital. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Norton officiating. Family visitation will be Saturday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Mrs. Tyson was born April 15, 1938 in Manning Texas to Tom F. and Cora E. Havard. She had worked as a waitress for many years. She married Murfee Roy Tyson and he preceded her in death. Three sisters and one brother also preceded her in death.
    Survivors include 2 sons, Randy Tyson of Cameron and Larry Garlington of Lufkin; 2 brothers, Melvin Havard of Houston and Vernon Havard of Lufkin; and a Sister-in-law, Billye Radtke McCoy.

    Paulyne V. Walker, 91 of Cameron, died Friday, March 24, 2006 in a Cameron hospital. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home with Rev. John Self officiating. Burial will follow in the Weir Cemetery in Weir. Family visitation will be held Sunday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
    Mrs. Walker, a homemaker, was born April 3, 1914 in Bell County to C. W. and Emma Ola (Wills) Hutchinson. She married J. C. (Dick) Walker and he preceded her in death in 1989. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Cameron where she had taught Sunday school for many years. A brother James E. Hutchinson also preceded her in death.
    Survivors include 3 Brothers, R. B. "Bob" Hutchinson of Houston, Richard Hutchinson of Granger, and C. W. Hutchinson, Jr. of Houston; and a sister, Marion Hutchinson of Cameron.
Whited, B.E. "Frog"
    B. E. "Frog" Whited, 88 of Cameron died Monday, February 27 in a Rockdale hospital. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Oak Hill Pavilion in Cameron with Rev. Tim Cheatham officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
    Mr. Whited, a retired auto mechanic was born October 19, 1917 in Milam County to James and Matilda (Mathis) Whited. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a Baptist.
    Survivors include 2 daughters, Darla Leong of Tucson, Arizona and Alma Jean Asaro of San Jose, California; 2 Sons, Gary M. Whited of Bloomington, California and James Patrick Whited of Yorbalinda, California; Sisters, Hallie Price of Henderson and Pearl Brook of Hereford; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren also survive.
Williams, Helen Balwin
    Helen Baldwin Williams, 77 of Cameron died Monday, January 23, 2006 in a Cameron hospital. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Lafferty officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Cemetery near Hanover.
    Mrs. Williams, a homemaker, was born in Milam County to Leonard and Selina (Hux) Baldwin. She married I. J. Williams in 1955 and he preceded her in death in 1999. She had worked as a sales clerk and was a member of Battetown Baptist Church.

    Lisa Braden Williams, 41, of Rogers, died Wednesday, January 18, 2006 in a Temple hospital. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev.     Mrs. Williams, a homemaker, was born October 30, 1964 in Rosebud, to Billy Ray Braden and Iva Dell Blackmon.
